During my long commutes to and from work I always try to spend the time as wisely as I can. Let's think about it, 3 hours of my everyday life could be spend in much better ways then just sitting on the train or bus... Oh the possibilities I could have! Luckily my friend Harmony (who is also my fellow commuter) comes up with great ideas how to spend the time in more fun ways. She told me about Alexandra Franzen the other day and encouraged me to sign up for her newsletter. Once I did it, I've received an email with The Great I AM worksheet. It can be found on her blog as well here. So yesterday on my way from work I took a pen and started filling the blanks in the worksheet:
Who am I?
I am a mom and wife; and a clerk in the working life who tries to escape from the boredom of sitting 7 hours at the computer and doing work which I don't like.
But really, I’m a life explorer and big dreamer.
I am amazing at making people feel special and relaxed, giving hugs and capturing the little things through photography.
And I’ve devoted most of my life to help people to feel seen, heard and loved.
When you work with me, you can expect to have a lot of fun but still get the job done while enjoying the whole process.
And you’ll probably be surprised & delighted by how natural some things can feel when you approach them in a positive way.
My work matters because it allows people to experience spontaneity.
And I am here to remind you that you are loved no matter what you are going through in your life right now. If you fall down, you can always get up and start fresh. Just don't give up. The time is NOW.
My question for you is do you see what I see and do you feel what I feel? If not what we can do to get on the same page?
To sum it up? I am a big dreamer with even bigger heart who loves to share joy with others and loves to make people happy and feeling loved.

working on it
I've been feeling a little bit under the weather lately... The biggest problem? Days have only 24 hours. Twenty. Four. And I need at least 30...
With summer going on and the kids' bedtime pushed almost up to 9.30 pm I have no time to do stuff I want. I wouldn't trade the little time I can spend with my little ones for anything, of course, it's just that sometimes I need time to do my exercise or something creative as well. So I've been pushing all the "me time" stuff on the side.
Today when I got home from work and found the house empty (Ivo took mom and the kids to the lake) I changed immediately into exercising clothes and put the DVD on.
I feel so much better now! I need to figure out where to squeeze short workouts during the day. It might be a 5am thing but I need to do it. I'm on my way to healthier and happier me. I'm working on it.
