cross-country run

Patrik was looking forward to this day for several months. He missed the last race which took a place in October so he couldn't wait to run this one with his friends from school.  After today's class we took him to the race place. I wish the little ones would have a better weather, it was SO cold and raining but it seemed all the little runners didn't mind.

Here are the first grade boys ready at a start line.

 Patrik was a little bit confused at the beginning. It was his first race ever and it seemed he didn't know where to run because he stayed at the very back and tried to run around others which slowed him down a lot. But then he got it and ran forward. He finished 9th! We are so proud of him! He had fun and that's what counts the most.
